Happy birthday Marines on 241 years of service!
FORT LEE, Va. (Nov. 3, 2016) Nov. 10 is the 241st anniversary of the establishment of the Marine Corps by the Continental Congress in 1775. This gave the Navy a special armed force – essentially, a seagoing infantry – to be used during battles at sea and on land.
Frost selected as DeCA's West Area director
FORT LEE, Va. (Nov. 10, 2016) Michelle Frost has been named director of the Defense Commissary Agency's West Area. She is expected to begin her new job in January. Frost will be filling a position previously held by Terry Batenhorst who lost a battle with cancer in July.
