Service Connected Disabled Veterans Entering Buckley For the First Time
Veterans with a service-connected disability have privileges to shop at the Commissary and Exchange system. Veterans entering the installation for the first time will need to register their VA card at the Visitor Center located next to the Mississippi Gate entrance Monday - Friday 0700-1500. This is a onetime requirement. VA Cards MUST say "Service Connected" underneath your photo. VA card holders do not have installation sponsorship privileges and will be unable to bring unauthorized individuals with them. For more information on disabled veteran privileges click here or check with your local VA office. For questions on installation access please call the Visitor Center at 720-847-9381.

Commissaries to remain open during a potential lapse in appropriation.
Military commissaries will remain open worldwide for a limited amount of time during a potential lapse in appropriation, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announced.
“We are committed to doing everything possible to minimize the impact of any budget decisions on our patrons,” said John Hall, DeCA director and CEO. “The Defense Department recognizes how significant the commissary benefit is for our military’s wellbeing and quality of life.”
In the event of a lapse in appropriation, commissaries will continue full operation of commissaries for a period of up to 60 days or until all DeCA defense working capital funds cash are exhausted, Hall said. The agency’s 235 stores serve the military community in 13 countries worldwide.
“Our operating status would be subject to change depending on the length of a lapse in appropriation or until our current funding is exhausted,” he said. “We will always provide updated store information on our website, Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) as necessary,” he said. “We will do our best to support our military communities whenever and wherever possible.”
If after a lapse in appropriation occurs and DeCA’s working capital funds are exhausted, at that time, overseas commissaries and stores identified as remote U.S. locations where no other sources of food are reasonably available for military personnel would remain open.
Patrons should also check the “Store Information & Holiday Hours” box on their store’s webpage for specific operating schedules.
Hall also recommends that service members and their families stay tuned in to their local news outlets for information about any potential impact to services on their installations.

Mobile app gives shoppers convenient access to Commissary CLICK2GO, sales flyer, recipes and more
Customers can also further their commissary savings through the new and improved Your Everyday Savings (YES!) Program. YES! offers extra savings and value on products customers buy most. Look for the orange YES! label on store shelves.
DeCA’s “Thinking Outside the Box” (TOTB) recipe for the period is Quick & Hearty Turkey Kielbasa Soup. Thinking Outside the Box recipes are dietitian-approved, offering quick and economical solutions for home-cooked meals. Customers can save even more on the items listed in these recipes.
More opportunities to save are available through the Pathway to Savings – “Instant Savings and Buy One, Get One (BOGO) Free” deals and Commissary Rewards Card digital coupons. Customers can save over $65 through these deals. Many more digital coupons are available at https://shop.commissaries.com/digital-coupons. Pathway to Savings “BOGO Free” is not available at overseas stores; however, overseas customers can still enjoy instant savings by visiting their stores for specific selection and pricing.
DeCA has made shopping even easier with its Commissary CLICK2GO mobile app. Customers can access DeCA’s Commissary CLICK2GO online payment, curbside pickup, digital coupons, the sales flyer, dietitian-approved recipes and much more. The mobile app is free for download through the Google Play and IOS app stores.

- Commissary Store Brands. DeCA’s private label inventory of Commissary Store Brands includes an assortment of items spanning the entire store to include Freedom’s Choice food, HomeBase non-food, TopCare health and beauty, Full Circle Market natural and organic food, Wide Awake ready-to-drink coffee products, Tippy Toes baby products, Flock’s Finest wild bird food and Pure Harmony pet food.
- Dietitian-Approved Fueling Stations. The commissaries’ grab-n-go Dietitian-Approved Fueling Stations are a great alternative to the drive-thru or can be used as a quick way to stock office and barrack fridges with quick, on-the-go, snacks and meals. These stations are full of dietitian-approved snacks and meals that are nutritious and high-performance foods. They’re conveniently located near the registers in select stores. - “Box Tops for Education.” General Mills is offering customers an opportunity to save money while supporting their local schools through the “Box Tops for Education” promotion. See store displays and high-value coupons for participating General Mills brands. This campaign is ongoing throughout the year.
- “Military Cat Club.” The club offers high-value coupons only valid at the commissary, and includes welcome gifts, sweepstakes opportunities, pet tips and articles. Enter online at https://MilitaryCatClub.com and complete the designated entry form to enter the sweepstakes. During May, there will be six winners drawn and each winner will receive a cat scratching post, approximate value $50.

- What should I bring to pick up my order?

- Payment is collected online. Your total payment may be slightly different (either higher or lower) than your estimated total shown online due to random weight items such as produce and meat. Additionally, DeCA's pricing policy, similar to that of retail grocery chains providing this service, is to charge you the item price in effect on the day and time of pickup.

- What are Commissary CLICK2GO’s operating hours?
- Monday – Wednesday – Friday, 10 am / 2 pm
- Tuesday – Thursday, 10 am / 4 pm
- Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, up to six days in advance of the desired pickup date
- How soon can I pick up my order?
- There is a minimum six-hour lead-time from the time the order is submitted to the time of curbside pickup. Cut off is 2359 the night prior for pick up the following day.
- What happens if I am going to be late?
- If you are running late or will be unable to pick up your order altogether, contact your CLICK2GO commissary via email or phone. That information is located on your confirmation email. The store will accommodate your schedule.
- Should I tip the person handling my order when I pick up my groceries?
- No, Commissary CLICK2GO employees are not allowed to accept tips.
- How do I cancel my Commissary CLICK2GO order?

You can cancel an order up to 4.5 hours prior to your reserved pickup time
- Log into shop.commissaries account
- Select “My Account” then select “My Orders”
- Select the order you want to cancel then scroll down and click "Cancel Order"
- Select “Yes” to continue
- How Do I add notes to my order?
- To input notes for specific substitution requests or to add additional comments please select the grocery cart in the top right corner of the screen
- Scroll down and select “View Full List”
- From the drop-down arrow, select your substitution preference and provide any additional instructions in the “Add Notes” section
- How does Commissary CLICK2GO substitute out of stock items?
- You are able to make substitutions for all items or individual items in your order. You are also able to make specific substitution requests by adding notes to your order.
- We will substitute a like item in the closest size and price of the actual item ordered.
- If you do not approve of the substituted item it can be deleted from your order at curbside.
- Most items sold in the commissary are available on CLICK2GO. If you know an item is sold in the store, but cannot find it on the website, ask for it in the comments box. And if that item is available we will add it to you order.
- Does Commissary CLICK2GO accept coupons?
- Yes, digital coupons on the DeCA Rewards Card. Paper coupons are not accepted at this time.
- For Rewards Card coupons to be applied to your order please clip the coupon before you add that desired item to your basket.
- Please add your Rewards Card number in the notes section
- How do I return an item?
- Per our return policy, returns must be handled inside the commissary at customer service.
