CLICK2GO is our online ordering and curbside service. Get the convenience of having your grocery ordered and ready for pickup at the time of your request!

Access this service anywhere you have internet access, including through your mobile device. We accept Visa, Discover, American Express, Master card, Rewards Cards and Military Star Cards may also be used for this service. Online payment only. The $4.95 service fee has been waived for all patrons. No minimum order size or dollar amount required, and customers can order 24/7 up 6 days in advance.  Place orders in four steps:

DOD’s “Taking Care of Service Members and Families” initiative will allow us to reduce commissary prices at the register about 3-5 percent on most items – particularly on food staples that struggling military families need most such as bread, eggs, milk and more,” said Bill Moore, director and CEO of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). “With this boost we can achieve at least 25 percent in overall savings for eligible patrons who shop their commissaries.” Commissary customers are expected to see price changes at most locations by mid-October. “The commissary system’s commitment to saving military communities money has not wavered for over 30 years,” Moore said. “We remain steadfast in our efforts to improve the quality of life of our eligible patrons by saving them at least a quarter on every dollar they spend on groceries compared to ‘outside the gate’ grocery stores. That’s $50 back in your pocket on a $200 grocery bill! “We are a food security resource for our customers, and as such, we are doing everything we can to get our precious military families the products they need – at the lowest price possible.”

Veteran Privilege Information

On January 1, 2020 all eligible service-connected disabled veterans, Purple Heart recipients, former prisoners of war, and primary veteran caregivers will be eligible to shop at the commissary.  Learn more about this new program, or to determine eligibility, visit your local VA medical facility; call 1-877-222-VETS (8387), Monday through Friday from 0800 - 2000 Eastern time or apply online at VA.gov.

 Scholarships for Military Children Program:

The Scholarship for Military Children Program has been created in recognition of the contributions of military families to the readiness of the fighting force and to celebrate the role of the commissary in the military family community. A scholarship, funded through outside contributions, will be awarded annually at each commissary operated by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The Fisher House Foundation continues to serve as the program administrator and will contract again this year with Scholarship Managers to evaluate the program’s applications.

The Scholarships for Military Children program will open in December and close in February. Five hundred (500) scholarship grants, each for $2,000, will be awarded for the academic school year 2026-2027. There will be at least one recipient selected at all commissary location where qualified applications are received. Additional recipients are chosen on a prorated basis. Therefore, more applicants may be selected from those commissaries with more significant numbers of applicants. Only students with a valid Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card may apply for a scholarship. An applicant's parent(s) must be one of the following: active duty, reserve/guard, deceased, or retired from the Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard. It is not the responsibility of store personnel to monitor eligibility. Scholarship Managers will screen the completed applications, not DeCA or Fisher House Foundation. Applications will be submitted online in December 2025 through the website www.militaryscholar.org. During the final certification process, Scholarship Managers will notify recipients of their selection. This notification will be prior to the store director’s notification. Results will be posted on the scholarship Website at www.militaryscholar.org .

The Department of Defense expanded commissary shopping privileges in the U.S. effective 1 January 2020 as part of the Purple Heart and Disabled Veterans Equal Access Act of 2018, included in the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019. This expansion adds to the existing authorized shopper list here.

Access was expanded to include:

• Veterans with any service-connected disability
• Purple Heart recipients
• Former Prisoners of war, and
• Individuals approved and designated as the primary family caregivers of eligible Veterans under the Department of Veterans Affairs Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers

Overseas Veterans check with your local installation to verify privileges.

This Commissary is now bagless! Customers will need to bring their own bags. Reusable bags will be available in store for a small fee. See your store associate for more information.

Organic Food Products

You can find organic products throughout the Ord Community Commissary. They are easily identified on store shelves by the small green signs displaying the organic seal of the United States Department of Agriculture. Find a wide variety of organic items ranging from organic milk, eggs, soups, yogurts, frozen veggies, cereals, frozen pizzas, enchiladas, shampoos, conditioners, and body lotions throughout the store.

While anyone is allowed to buy a commissary gift card, only authorized customers may use them, so it’s a gift that is exclusive to the military community. Plus, you’re helping others in the military community create holiday memories they will never forget!

The cards sold online are offered in $25 and $50 denominations, while those sold in stores are “open value,” meaning that you can choose to load as little as $5 or as much as $300 on a card.

Animals in the Commissary

Disabled patrons who rely on trained service animals can bring them into the commissary. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities. Service animals are working animals, not pets.

Dogs whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), 28 C.F.R., Part 36, "Nondiscrimination on the Basis of Disability by Public Accommodations and in Commercial Facilities, (Reference (bb)).

 Starting April 6, 2026, the Commissary will begin charging for single-use shopping bags. $0.05 per plastic bag; $0.10 per paper bag. Patrons are encouraged to bring reusable bags or purchase reusable options available in-store or via Commissary CLICK2GO®.
