FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. – Members of the military community looking for ways to stretch their grocery dollars can take advantage of the Your Everyday Savings (YES!) deals at their local commissary.
YES! offers extra savings and value on the products customers buy most. Just look for the orange YES! label on store shelves.
“We are committed to giving our patrons the best consistent, everyday savings possible when compared to retailers outside the gate,” said Navy Command Master Chief Mario Rivers, senior enlisted advisor to the Defense Commissary Agency director. “With YES!, a good thing gets even better with lower prices and better value that reinforce the fact that our patrons’ best option for overall savings remains their commissary.”
As consumers continue to be concerned about prices in the grocery aisles, cooking at home remains one of the most cost-effective ways to manage their food spending. YES! products provide deep discounts on nearly 300 of the most popular items bought by stateside and overseas commissary patrons.
Bright orange shelf labels and signs highlight these products throughout the store on everything from milk, eggs, frozen vegetables and cereals to cleaning supplies. These items include popular brands of the following:
- Beverages: apple juice, flavored iced teas, nutritional shakes, vegetable juice, coffee, coffee creamer and energy drinks.
- Food staples: avocadoes, bananas, oranges, tomatoes, macaroni and cheese, oatmeal, pasta, soup, Spam and baby food.
- Snacks and treats: potato chips, yogurt, and other selected snack foods.
- Supplies: paper towels, toilet tissue, bottled water, dish soap, fabric softener and pet food.
“Your Everyday Savings products give commissary patrons great deals on a daily basis for many of the items that they buy most frequently,” Rivers said. “So, when it comes to making the most of your grocery budget, just say YES!”
