Refrigeration Systems Work:
Work is continuing on several of our stand-up freezer and coffin coolers to replace cooper lines delivering refrigerant to the systems. These locations will be down approx. 3 days in each area as the work is completed and the locations restocked. We are anticipating the work will be completed by 15 Dec 2025.

Information on how the service works is found on www.commissaries.com with dedicated sections such as “How CLICK2GO Works.” First-time customers will need to create an account.
Customers use a computer or mobile device to make their orders online where they select from commissary products offered based on the store’s stock assortment. After products are selected, the shopper selects a pickup time and pays for their order. At their appointed time they park in designated parking spaces where commissary workers bring their groceries.

Authority for Use of CONUS Commissary Stores by Protective Services Civilian
Employees: In accordance with Title 10 USC §1066, eligibility of Protective Services Civilian
Employees; an individual employed as a protective services civilian employee at a military
installation may be permitted to purchase food and hygiene items at a commissary store located
on that military installation. DeCA's intent is to follow the requirements established in §1066 and
allow the following shopping privileges.
Protective services civilian employees are in a position of the following series of the
General Schedule. Only the individual employee has shopping privileges, not dependents and/or
family members.
Security Administration (GS-0080)
Fire Protection and Prevention (GS-0081)
Police (GS-0083)
Security Guard (GS-0085)
Emergency Management (GS-0089)
Ensure all protective services civilian employees are aware there is currently no user fee.
When a related user fee is determined all stakeholders will be informed. Store personnel will
utilize the barcode currently being used for non-scanning Common Access Cards (CAC) until
further instructions are provided. The effective date is 01 August 2023.
-Expanded privilege - Starting Jan. 1, 2020 all service-connected disabled veterans, Purple Heart recipients, former prisoners of war and primary veteran caregivers will be eligible to shop at commissaries worldwide. For more information on this new program, go to www.militaryonesource.mil/expanding-access, or to determine eligibility, visit a local VA medical facility; call 1-877-222-VETS (8387), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Eastern time or apply online at VA.gov.

Summer Student Intern Program
These internships, filled under the DeCA Pathways Program, provide students in high school, college, technical or vocational school, a certificate program, and other qualifying educational institutions with the opportunity to explore federal careers as paid interns. Students must meet eligibility and requirements by the announcement close date. Students (min. age is 16) must be taking at least a half-time course load and have at least a cumulative 2.0 GPA. Anticipated employment period is May to September 30, 2023.

DoD is required to charge a small fee to new users who are eligible solely under the Purple Heart and Disabled Veterans Equal Access Act of 2018, to cover any increase in costs to the U.S. Treasury for processing commercial credit and debit cards.

Military commissaries will remain open worldwide for a limited amount of time during a potential lapse in appropriation, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announced. In the event of a lapse in appropriation, commissaries will continue full operation.
Guest Rules
In order to meet our SOFA obligations, the general rule is that only authorized patrons are allowed entry into the commissary. This policy restricts access in order to minimized the potential for abuse and ensure the U.S. complies with the intent of the SOFA. To protect the commissary benefits, I.D. cards and ration cards will be verified upon checkout.

Planning a party and can't find something you saw at another commissary? Placing a special order is the way to go! Camp Carroll does not have enough space to carry every item that Humphreys or Osan carries, but we can surely transfer a product down to fit your needs.

Military Star Card
Commissaries are accepting the Military Star Card as a form of payment. Customers can earn two points for every dollar when they use their Military Star card to purchase their groceries at the Commissary. Customers with questions about the card should contact the Military Star Card Customer Contact Center at 1-877-891-7827 or visit MyECP.com.

Commissary Gift Cards can be purchased online and inside the commissary at the customer service desk. Anyone can purchase these gift cards, but the recipients must be an authorized patron. You can select an “open value” card from as little as $5 to as much as $300 per card.

Pricing Practices at "Your Fort Huachuca Commissary":
The Commissary is an Appropriated Funds facility; it is a not-for-profit entity unlike retailers outside the gate or even the PX. Goods are procured and purchased by the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) with DOD Appropriated Funds for resale to patrons.
While our customers can be assured that they are provided with the best overall prices in their shopping trips to our commissaries, when it comes to individual items each retailer may have a different cost from their suppliers. If we find that our cost does not allow us to be priced as competitively as we should be, or provide the savings we are committed to provide, our category teams will work diligently with our suppliers to negotiate the best cost possible. This might include running great promotions with deeply discounted prices. However, from time to time we may need to be priced slightly higher than a commercial store. At DeCA we are committed to provide the best overall savings to our customers that we can!
Patrons purchase products at cost + surcharge. Price changes are processed twice a month, on the 1st and 16th of each month. Surcharge is applied to the total value of each commissary purchase because Congress has mandated collection of surcharge (currently 5 percent) to pay for commissary construction, equipment and maintenance. All surcharge dollars collected are returned to commissary patrons in the form of continually improved commissary facilities. The amount of surcharge applied to a commissary sale transaction is shown as "SCG" on your sales receipt.

Expanded Privilege
Starting January 1, 2020 all SERVICE-CONNECTED DISABLED VETERANS, Purple Heart recipients, former prisoners of war and primary veteran caregivers will be eligible to shop at commissaries worldwide. For more information on this new program, go to www.militaryonesource.mil/expanding-access, or to determine eligibility, visit a local VA medical facility; call 1-877-222-VETS (8387), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., or apply online at VA.gov.

Military Star Card Now accepting the MILITARY STAR Card
Commissary CLICK2GO customers can use MILITARY STAR cards for their online purchases. Patrons using Commissary CLICK2GO, the Defense Commissary Agency’s online shopping and curbside pickup service, can now use the MILITARY STAR card to purchase their groceries through the website.
