New Hope Mills is voluntarily recalling limited quantities of New Hope Crepe Mix due to a risk of salmonella contamination, according to a Dec. 16 notice. The crepe mix was made with recalled powdered milk ingredients from a secondary supplier.

Old Dutch Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling a limited number of flavored potato chip and tortilla chip products due to a risk of salmonella contamination, according to a Dec. 16 notice. The chips were made with recalled powdered milk ingredients.

The J.M. Smucker Company is voluntarily recalling limited lots of 9Lives, EverPet and Special Kitty canned cat food due to possible low levels of thiamine (Vitamin B1), according to a Jan. 4 notice.

Kayem Foods, Inc. is voluntarily recalling approximately 22,182 pounds of chicken sausage products due to misbranding, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Jan. 19.

Dole Fresh Vegetables Inc. is voluntarily withdrawing all Dole-branded and private label packaged salads processed at its Springfield, Ohio, production facility because of concerns over listeria monocytogenes, according to a Jan. 22 notice.

Pinnacle Foods Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain lots of Armour No Bean Chili due to mislabeling, according to a Pinnacle Foods recall notice sent Jan. 22.

Buddy Fruits is voluntarily recalling their Tartlets products due to the lack of milk allergen communication on packages. The FDA notified Buddy Fruits that additional milk allergen clarification must be included.
