Veterans Welcome!
- Effective January 1, 2020; The U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs Veterans Health Identification Card, (VHIC) will be the authorized identification for the latest group to receive commissary privileges. There will be two groups that will be identified by a memorandum provided by the Veterans Administration.
- To obtain a VHIC, current VA policy requires veterans to be enrolled in VA health care. To check VA health enrollment eligibility and to enroll: visit a local VA medical facility: call 1-877-222-VETS (8387), Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m., Eastern time; or apply online here.
- Caregivers eligible solely under this act will receive a letter from the VA that indicates they are the primary family caregiver for a veteran enrolled in the Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers.

Deli/Bakery Dept:
Deli/Bakery is now OPEN on Mondays from 1000-1400hrs. Minimum manning only allows for Sandwiches and for sliced Meats and Cheeses.
The Deli/Bakery now offers prepared hot lunch specials on Tues-Sat from 1100hrs to 1300hrs and will be located in the Rotisserie Chicken Warmer in front of the Self Checkout lanes. Varieties include:
Chicken Alfredo, Philly Cheesesteak Grilled Wrap, Chicken Parmesan Grilled Wrap, BBQ Chicken Grilled Wrap.
Hours prior to 1100 and after 1300hrs these prepared meals will be located in the Grab N Go cooler next to the Sushi dept. and in the Sandwich case in the Deli/Bakery dept.

Expanded Shopping Privileges:
The Department of Defense expanded commissary shopping privileges in theU.S. effective 1 January 2020 as part of the Purple Heart and Disabled Veterans Equal Access Act of 2018, included in the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019.
Access was expanded to include:
- Veterans with any service-connected disability
- Purple Heart recipients
- Former Prisoners of war, and
- Individuals approved and designated as the primary family caregivers of eligible Veterans under the Department of Veterans Affairs Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers

Produce
Special order fruit baskets, fruit trays, and vegetable trays. Fruit baskets and fruit trays need 48 hours' notice. Look in the Produce department for a variety of plants and Forever Roses!
Meat
Your Meat Department has years of experience, if you are not sure what you are looking for, just ask one of our talented cutters about a cut or product, they are willing to assist you with your Meat Department products and dinner suggestions!
Deli/Bakery
Check out our fresh baked goods! We have meat and cheese trays, too. Order that special cake for that special occasion.
Sushi
Sushi has party platters available, come in and see what the Sushi team has to offer!

The commissaries’ Power Box program offers 25-30 percent savings on fresh beef and pork packages with a variety of selections available at CONUS stores, including Alaska and Hawaii:
- Tailgate Special Power Box offers about 19 pounds of different cuts of beef and pork – 80-81 percent lean ground beef patties, USDA Choice strip loin steaks (NY Strip) and pork baby back ribs (about two slabs)
- Economy Power Box offers about 15 pounds of different cuts of beef and pork – 85 percent lean ground beef, boneless center cut pork chops, pork tenderloin, USDA Choice bottom round roast or steaks and USDA Choice top round beef cube steaks

- “Serving Our Country’s Finest.” In June, commissary customers will see significant savings on assortment of J.M. Smucker brands including Smucker’s Fruit Spreads, Folgers Coffee, Dunkin Coffee, Bustelo Coffee, Milk-Bone, and Smucker’s Pet.
- “Stock Up and Save.” Through July 3, DeCA and MyMilitarySavings.com are running a joint sweepstakes promotion offering savings on select items in the following brands: Kraft, Oscar Mayer, Del Monte, Heinz, Jet Puffed, Minute Rice, Louisiana Hot Sauce and Red Bull. Shoppers can enter the sweepstakes with an in-store QR code or at https://www.mymilitarysavings.com/contests for a chance to win one of five $500 Commissary Gift Cards. A charitable donation from the proceeds of this promotion will be given to Operation Homefront.
- “Sandsational Savings.” General Mills is sponsoring savings on some of its popular items such as Chex Party Mix, Betty Crocker Suddenly Salad, Annie’s, Cascadian Farm, Fiber One, Epic and Ratio. This promotion includes high-value coupons, premium giveaways, meal solutions and recipe ideas.
- Purina Military Cat Club.
