Unilever United States is voluntarily recalling select dry shampoo aerosol products due to potentially elevated levels of benzene, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Oct. 21.

The Clorox Company is voluntarily recalling select scented Pine-Sol products because they may contain bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa, according to a recall notice from the Defense Commissary Agency’s food safety office sent Oct. 25.

Robert J. Bunch, former director of the Defense Commissary Agency’s (DeCA) Central Area, was named executive director of the Store Operations Group effective Nov. 6.
