The Defense Commissary Agency’s (DeCA) Sales Flyer for Nov. 7 - 20, offers customers even greater ways to save.
Customized sales flyers are available just in time for Veterans Day, Nov. 11, for overseas military families in the European and Pacific regions by accessing the link and selecting the region of their choice. In this edition, DeCA is promoting significant savings to customers for their holiday feasts with great deals on whole frozen turkeys for just $.68/lb. on select brands through Dec. 31.
Commissaries announce holiday shopping schedule
Military commissaries will operate under a holiday schedule beginning the week of Thanksgiving and continuing through New Year’s Day, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announced. “We encourage our military community members to check their stores’ schedules, plan their shopping trips on the installation for both commissaries and exchanges, and use their shopping benefit to save money over the holidays,” said Robert J. Bunch, executive director of DeCA’s Store Operations Group.

Kaneohe Bay Commissary to receive major upgrade
A construction contract for upgrade of the commissary at Marine Corps Hawaii Base Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii, was awarded Sept. 28 to Nelson Refrigeration Inc. The renovation of the commissary, built in 1993, will increase the store’s operational efficiency and enhance the customers’ overall shopping experience.
