Anyone may purchase a $25, $50 up to $300. dollars Commissary Gift Card for an authorized patron online or at all commissaries worldwide. Look for them on a rack at full service, front-end registers.

Commissary Store Brands

Three store brands are now available in the commissary. The three brands are Freedom's Choice for food products, Home Base for nonfood items, and Top Care for first aid supplies, vitamins, over the counter medications, and beauty care. Store brands are a high-quality, low-cost alternative to national brands.

Coupon Crusaders

Your Chinhae Commissary would like to give a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has taken the time to clip and send coupons to the commissary. Our military members greatly appreciate your support helping them stretch their hard-earned dollars every month. As soon as we receive the coupons, our staff makes every effort to sort them and get them on the products. This new effort to actually place the coupons directly on the product is a big hit in all of our commissaries. It certainly makes saving easier. People helping people. Customer service at its finest. Coupons are good for an additional 6 months after their expiration date overseas only.

New Shopping Privileges

PROTECTIVE SERVICES CIVILIAN

Effective 01 August 2023.

In accordance with Title 10 USC §1066, eligibility of Protective Services Civilian Employees; an individual employed as a protective services civilian employee at a military installation may be permitted to purchase food and hygiene items at a commissary store located on that military installation. DeCAs intent is to follow the requirements established in §1066 and allow the following shopping privileges.

Protective services civilian employees are in a position of the following series of the General Schedule. Only the individual employee has shopping privileges, not dependents and/or family members.

Security Administration (GS-0080)

Fire Protection and Prevention (GS-0081)

Police (GS-0083)

Security Guard (GS-0085)

Emergency Management (GS-0089)

Ensure all protective services civilian employees are aware there is currently no user fee.

When a related user fee is determined all stakeholders will be informed. Store personnel will utilize the barcode currently being used for non-scanning Common Access Cards (CAC) until further instructions are provided.

Starting Jan. 1, all service-connected disabled veterans, Purple Heart recipients, former prisoners of war and primary veteran caregivers will be eligible to shop at commissaries worldwide.

• Disabled and other eligible veterans: The Veteran Health Identification card (VHIC), with “Purple Heart,” “Former POW” or “Service Connected” printed on the front, will be required for access into the installation and entry to the stores.
• Caregivers: The benefit applies to the approved and designated primary family caregiver of service-connected disabled veterans who are registered in the Department of Veterans Affairs Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers to receive shopping privileges. Visit the VA’s caregiver page for more information. Beginning in November, the VA will start sending memos for caregivers to be used for access at the front gate, along with a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or other approved government-issued photo ID.

Customers may only use one coupon per purchase in DeCA commissaries. This policy complies with the terms and conditions set by manufacturers for coupon use, and manufacturers only reimburse DeCA for coupons when commissaries follow these terms and conditions.

 How do I find my Military DOD ID Number?

1. How do I place a Commissary CLICK2GO order?

• Access CLICK2GO from your computer/mobile device by logging into your shop.commissaries.com account. If you don’t already have an account you can register on the login page.
• Choose your preferred commissary location
• Search for products by name or select the department and category links to browse our virtual aisles
• When you’re ready, choose your pickup time and complete checkout. 

2.     What should I bring to pick up my order?

• Your military ID or authorized agent card is required
• Confirmation email 

3.     Do I pay for my order online or at the time of pickup?

• Payment is collected online. Your total payment may be slightly different (either higher or lower) than your estimated total shown online due to random weight items such as produce and meat. Additionally, DeCA's pricing policy, similar to that of retail grocery chains providing this service, is to charge you the item price in effect on the day and time of pickup. 

4.     What forms of payment do you accept?

• Debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Star Card, and EBT.
• We do NOT accept cash, check, WIC vouchers 

5.     Will I be charged a service fee when using Commissary CLICK2GO?

 6.     What are NWS Crane Commissary’s CLICK2GO operating hours?

• Monday – Friday, 11:00 am - 5:30 pm
• Orders can be placed 24 hours a day, up to six days in advance of the desired pickup date. 

7.     How soon can I pick up my order?

• There is a minimum six-hour lead-time from the time the order is submitted to the time of curbside pickup. For example, an order submitted at 5am can be picked up the same day as early as 11am
• Orders placed after 11am will default to the next available pickup time the following day. 

8.     What happens if I am going to be late?

• If you are running late or will be unable to pick up your order altogether, contact your CLICK2GO commissary via email or phone. That information is located on your confirmation email. The store will accommodate your schedule. 

9.     Should I tip the person handling my order when I pick up my groceries?

• No, Commissary CLICK2GO employees are not allowed to accept tips. 

10. How do I cancel my Commissary CLICK2GO order?

• You can cancel an order up to 4.5 hours prior to your reserved pickup time
   
  1. Log into shop.commissaries.com account
  2. Select “My Account” then select “My Orders”
  3. Select the order you want to cancel then scroll down and click "Cancel Order"
  4. Select “Yes” to continue 

11. How Do I add notes to my order?

• To input notes for specific substitution requests or to add additional comments please select the grocery cart in the top right corner of the screen
• Scroll down and select “View Full List”
• From the drop-down arrow, select your substitution preference and provide any additional instructions in the “Add Notes” section. 

12. How does Commissary CLICK2GO substitute out of stock items?

• You are able to make substitutions for all items or individual items in your order. You are also able to make specific substitution requests by adding notes to your order.
• We will substitute a like item in the closest size and price of the actual item ordered.
• If you do not approve of the substituted item it can be deleted from your order at curbside.
• Most items sold in the commissary are available on CLICK2GO. If you know an item is sold in the store, but cannot find it on the website, ask for it in the comments box. And if that item is available we will add it to you order. 

13. Does Commissary CLICK2GO accept coupons?

• Yes, digital coupons on the DeCA Rewards Card. Paper coupons are not accepted at this time.
• For Rewards Card coupons to be applied to your order please clip the coupon before you add that desired item to your basket.
• Please add your Rewards Card number in the notes section. 

14. How do I return an item?

• Per our return policy, returns must be handled inside the commissary at customer service. 

15. Can I use my personal reusable bags?

• Yes. If you would like us to use paper or reusable bags rather than plastic please let us know by adding comments to your order.

All military commissaries will continue to operate worldwide for a limited amount of time during a potential lapse in appropriation, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announced. 

In the event of a lapse in appropriation, DeCA has the authority to operate commissaries worldwide through the end of March, using its Defense Working Capital Funds (DWCF).

Commissary employees would continue to work and are not subject to furlough during this time frame.

DeCA’s operating status could change depending on the length of a lapse in appropriation. The agency will always provide updated store information on its website, Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) as necessary.

If DeCA exhausts its working capital funds, then overseas commissaries and stateside stores identified as remote or austere – where no other sources of food are reasonably available for military personnel – would continue to operate.

The following stores are identified as remote locations: U.S. Coast Guard Base Kodiak and Fort Greely in Alaska; Fort Irwin and Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center Bridgeport in California; Naval Air Station Fallon, Nevada; and U.S. Army Dugway Proving Ground, Utah.

The following CONUS commissaries are designated “austere”: Anchorage Area store at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska; Los Angeles Air Force Base, California; Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida; Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Washington. Given the fluidity of funding priorities, the status of these store operations is subject to change.

Patrons should also check the “Store Information & Holiday Hours” box on their store’s webpage for specific operating schedules. 

Service members and their families are encouraged to stay tuned in to their local news outlets for information about any potential impact to services on their installations.
