FORT LEE, Va. – Commissaries overseas and in certain remote stateside locations will be open during the government shutdown, the Defense Commissary Agency announced today.

Stateside military commissaries will remain open effective today, with the continuing resolution that ends the government shutdown, said the interim director and CEO of the Defense Commissary Agency.

Advanced Fresh Concepts (AFC) is recalling its frozen Tuna Fillet Saku because the product may be contaminated with listeria according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Jan. 19. This product is an ingredient used in the sushi department.
