HP Hood LLC is voluntarily recalling a limited number of half gallon cartons of refrigerated Vanilla Almond Breeze almond milk because the product may contain actual milk, an undeclared allergen, according to a Department of Defense All Food and Drug Activity message sent Aug 2.

Ways to improve the patron shopping experience were the main focus of the Defense Commissary Agency and its industry partners during a July 25 meeting at agency headquarters in Fort Lee, Virginia.

Football fans can get all they need for their tailgate menu or television snacks at extra savings at their commissary, said the Defense Commissary Agency’s director of sales.

Commissaries are again serving as common collection points for 2018’s Feds Feed Families campaign, which began Aug. 10 this year, and continues through Oct. 15 at participating stateside military installations.
