Military commissaries and exchanges are blowing the whistle to start the next season of free NFL ProCamps® for military children at select installations. For the 14th straight season, Procter & Gamble (P&G) is joining the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) and the military exchanges to offer these camps hosted by NFL athletes such as Byron Young, Devin Lloyd, Austin Corbett, Morgan Fox and many others.

Commissary patrons in five Virginia stores now have another option for ready-to-heat prepared meals as the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announces the addition of its Prepared Foods Chicken grab-n-go program.

Starting April 6, commissaries will start charging a nominal price for each single-use paper or plastic bag. Cost associated with this change is 5 cents for plastic and 10 cents for paper single-use bags. DeCA encourages patrons to bring their own bags from home or purchase reusable bags from in-store or Commissary CLICK2GO® assortments.

Service members and their families who want to see significant savings, eat healthier and save time on meal preparation need look no further than their commissary. Effective March 20, patrons will see more of the Defense Commissary Agency’s (DeCA) new line of Freedom’s Choice Reserve Fresh soups, single-serve bowls, salads and other entrees to its prepared foods assortment.

Throughout April, commissaries worldwide will be celebrating the Month of the Military Child with interactive learning opportunities to enhance their shopping experience. With the help of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) activities, the Defense commissary Agency (DeCA) will help military children use everyday groceries to spark curiosity, and enhance problem-solving and family engagement, said Navy Command Master Chief Mario S. Rivers, senior enlisted advisor to the DeCA director.
