During the holidays, military commissaries will be open to serve eligible patrons except for Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) announced.

On Dec. 13, 1636, the Massachusetts Colony created an organized militia that would eventually become today’s National Guard.
