CTC Food International, Inc. recalls Shirayuki Jumbo Nama Udon
CTC Food International, Inc. recalls Shirayuki Jumbo Nama Udon, due to a labeling error, according to a Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA) internal recall message sent July 10.
DeCA has publicized this recall to all its stores, said Richard Stith, Chief, Public Health Division, DeCA Headquarters and Support Center at Fort Gregg-Adams, Virginia. Whenever a commissary has recalled or withdrawn products in its inventory, they are immediately removed from store shelves.
The product was stamped with the date 05-02-2025, but the description indicating this as the date of production (DOP) was unintentionally omitted.
Please note that the product’s shelf life is 12 months from the DOP, making the correct best before date 05-01-2026.
The following product is subject to recall:
- Shirayuki Jumbo Nama Udon, 21.15 ounces: UPC Code 0-74601-01517-6, best before date May 2, 2025.
